A collective launch into purposeful adulthood
We offer
A way to find your way
Growing up is a step into the unknown. Life could be awesome or it could be tough… and it feels like the whole thing hinges on getting it right, right now.
But right now doesn't always make sense. How can you decide what to do if you don't know what you will enjoy or be good at in a few years’ time? What is a good life? How will you find out what's real and what matters? And while we’re at it, what's going to happen with the health of the planet, or making up for the missed opportunities and connections of the pandemic, or robots and AI taking over…?
Liminal Learning is a way to navigate these questions, together, with skill and a sense of wonder.
Why we do it
Our mission
To prepare young people for a world in flux
Becoming an adult has always required an interplay of new knowledge, change, and liberation. This interplay is fundamentally a collective process — a rite of passage requiring not just academic or vocational skills, but also the relational, civic, and philosophical.
We aim to reanimate and serve this process. We help young people shift their relationship with the unknown: from worry and a fear of navigating alone, to wonder and purposeful collective experimentation. Together, we cultivate the skills to find one's own way in work, study, and life.
